Jewellery and art in glass, made by hand

On the Ternaarderdyk in Holwert, Nel Zandbergen has her glass studio. She makes beads, necklaces and bracelets of glass by hand, as well as decorative bowls, ornamental objects and Tiffany work such as stars and light boxes. She works with techniques like firing and fusing and uses Bullseye glass, among others. No two bowls are the same. Custom work is also possible.

The studio takes part in Route Wad een Kunst, an art route past studios and galleries along the Wadden coast in the north of Friesland. On route days you are welcome without an appointment to look around and hear more about the work.
